A young woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a tan hoodie, looks to her left with a tear running down her cheek, sitting against a wooden background.

Have you noticed you don’t enjoy the things you once loved as much as you used to?

Do you struggle to maintain and form new relationships?

Maybe you feel numb, or constantly flooded by sadness whenever you do allow yourself to feel.

Life hasn’t turned out how you expected it to.

A person with red hair, wearing a black and white checkered shirt, light blue jeans, and black sneakers with white soles, sitting on stone steps with their head low and arms resting on their knees. Shadows of leaves are cast on the steps, and a stone wall with a small barred window is in the background.

FAQ

  • How long have you been feeling this way? For how many years have you been thinking and responding with the same patterns? Breaking these cycles and learning new ways to interact can take time.

Initial relief can be immediate when starting therapy, and you may resolve your most pressing symptoms within a few months. Some people will be okay with that and move on until something else comes up, other people enjoy having someone to talk to consistently, to build a relationship with, and to get to the root of their issues to make lifelong changes.

Depending on your goals you can choose to work together for a few months or a few years.

  • First we’ll do a general check-in to see how you are doing and if there is a pressing concern you would like to address. Then we will get into the meat of addressing the main topic for that session, which may include doing a process to address trauma, or getting more information about your thoughts and feelings around an issue. Finally we will decide what “homework” you would like to work on between sessions.

  • Fill out a contact form or book a brief phone consultation if you have more questions. Or schedule an intake session by following the “book now” button if you are ready to get started.
